The Romance of Drawing
I didn't quite realize what the Hubster was drawing today. It was me. But NOT in a onesie!
He sketched my image from our wedding photograph. I found myself quite emotional. The care and time he took over tracing the lines of my face, my eyes, my lips. I was looking at him in the original photo. There's something rather intimate about drawing a person, isn't there?
Well, I'm a blubbering heap. And rather touched.
Drawing together is special. It shares memories and makes memories. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't tricky fitting in the time everyday, but it's worth it, definitely worth it.
Tempted? Sharpen those pencils and get sketching...
Day 22 #ProjectSketchbook
Freya's rather under the weather again and full of coughs and colds, but continuing this romantic theme - she's drawn a Moshi heart. Thanks Freya x
Oliver's detailed sketch of a salt water croc. Snappy!
William's used ink to outline his reptile. Great work!
Mine is also a simple line drawing today. No shading, no shadow, just lines.
Hubster's drawing. Thank you. It's lovely.
Wow! The eyes of love! Well done that Hubster!
ReplyDeleteYes, very kind eyes I think. More than generous on his subject :) It's been such a lovely experience this project.
